White Privilege? Institutional Racism?

Thursday Dec 10, 2020 from 7 to 8:30 PM

Come (via Zoom), listen and learn. You will hear three short personal stories from members of the MCWRET (Monmouth Center for World Religions and Ethical Thought). One story will be from a white person (Joe Ritacco), one will be from a black person (Georgette Thomas) who will address the flip-side of privilege, and one story will be from a self-described “brown” South Asian person (Sathya Andavolu), who has experienced both sides of privilege. Our intent is not to shame or guilt anyone, but to increase awareness and motivate further learning and hopefully ongoing engagement.

There will be ample time for attendees to join the conversation, possibly by sharing a short personal episode of privilege, or the opposite, in your life.

For ZOOM Access Information:  Please contact Joe Ritacco at JRitacco@comcast.net
