MOSAIC 8 starts on November 22 nd

We invite teens grade 8 – 12 to join. This year the sessions will be virtual, include breakout rooms, and be limited to one hour from 3:30-4:30 on eight Sunday afternoons. The sessions include students from different houses of worship talking about their faith. It often also includes a tour. MOSAIC stands for Mobilizing Our Students for Action to build Interfaith Community and is a free, multi-faith education, leadership and community service program. Last year 68 students from nine different faiths graduated. Attendance is the only requirement for graduation.
Students over the years have come from many different traditions including Greek Orthodox, Reformed, American Baptist, Roman Catholic, Episcopalian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Agnostic, Unitarian Universalist, Humanist, “none” and “undecided.” MOSAIC was created by the Monmouth Center for World Religions and Ethical Thought https://interfaithmonmouthcenter.org/ and the Human Relations Commission of Monmouth County.
