Red Bank Library: “Let’s Talk About Race” Monthly Event

Join the Conversation on:  Wednesday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. as we continue to discuss and explore issues of race, gender, class, and culture. In recognition of Women’s History Month, Rev. Dr. Betty Livingston Adams will discuss the topic Beyond Suffrage: The Women’s March in Black & White. Rev. Adams is the Associate Minister at Fountain Baptist Church, as well as a Research Fellow and adjunct faculty member in the History Department at Rutgers University. She is the author of Black Women’s Christian Activism, which won the prestigious Wilbur Award for 2017. An open and honest dialogue is encouraged which generates enlightening and informative exchanges. This program is free and open to the public. Please come and join the conversation!
