From droughts to floods\, in conflict zones and transitioning political situations\, food is often the most immediate need.  Responses to these needs occur not only around the world but right here in the United States in areas such as Puerto Rico and mainland United States after devastating hurricanes. \nOur teams of volunteers will prepare dry ingredients of rice\, soy\, vitamins and minerals which are put into bags which are sealed and stored. Each bag contains six (6) life-saving meals of nourishment. This exciting and fun event will fulfill one of the outreach commitments to alleviate hunger both here and abroad whenever food is needed. \nRise Against Hunger will partner with our Teens and Faith Leaders of MOSAIC to put into practice what all faiths believe — “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”  (Mother Theresa) \nPlease sponsor our MOSAIC Teens to help raise the resources to package 10\,000 meals on March 11th.  Each meal that is packaged\, costs thirty (30) cents!!! \nIf you wish to make a donation “on-line” here is the link to do so. \nBelow I have attached the event link for you to share with everyone looking to register/donate for this event. \nhttp://events.stophungernow.org/Mosaic Meal Packing Event \n \nShare this:\n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)\n Pinterest\n \n Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)\n Tumblr URL:https://interfaithmonmouthcenter.org/event/mosaic-rise-against-hunger-service-project/ LOCATION:Temple Shaari Emeth\, 400 Craig Road\, Manalapan\, NJ\, 07726\, United States CATEGORIES:MOSAIC END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
